We have the offshore storm and then the cold front later tomorrow with a brief cooldown with sunny and warmer weather next week, and still no major worries in the tropics:

- The offshore storm heads towards Nova Scotia tonight into tomorrow.

- There are still some timing issues with the showers from the cold front later tomorrow, but it has generally sped up a little with the chance for some widely scattered showers earlier, but with the best chance of showers and a brief downpour for Long Island being between 4 PM and 10 PM (the 2nd image is for 6 PM from the NAM). It will also become breezy/windy tomorrow afternoon. Turning sharply cooler and less humid later tomorrow evening once the front passes.

- An amazing week next week with sunshine an warmer weather, and with some luck, we could remain dry through next weekend.

- While there will be a lot of rain along the Gulf coast, there are no major worries from hurricanes for the next 10 days.
